A guide for preparing Thanksgiving dishes ahead of time.
Ingrédients
- Turkey – 1 whole (12-14 lbs)
- Stuffing – 1 box
- Potatoes – 5 lbs
- Green beans – 1 lb
- Cranberries – 2 cups
- Pumpkin pie – 1 (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Prepare the turkey by seasoning it the night before.
- Cook the stuffing and let it cool.
- Peel and chop the potatoes, then store them in water.
- Trim green beans and set aside.
- Make cranberry sauce and refrigerate.
- Bake pumpkin pie and allow it to cool.
- On Thanksgiving Day, roast the turkey and reheat the sides.
Notes
- Make sure to thaw the turkey in advance.
- Prepare cranberry sauce up to a week ahead.
- Green beans can be blanched and stored a day prior.
