Ingrédients

- 4 cups of diced vegetables (carrots, celery, onion)
- 2 cups of turkey broth
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon of thyme
- 2 cups of cooked turkey, shredded
- 1 package of pie crusts
- 1 cup of cranberry sauce
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a large pot, sauté the vegetables until tender.
- Add turkey broth and cream, mixing well.
- Stir in thyme and shredded turkey, then simmer.
- Roll out pie crusts and place in pie dishes.
- Fill with turkey mixture and top with a second crust.
- Mix cranberry sauce with sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Spoon cranberry mixture over the pie.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool and refrigerate until serving.
Notes
- Make the filling a day ahead.
- Reheat before serving.
- Use leftover turkey for best flavor.
