  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, celery, bell pepper, and garlic.
  3. Add ketchup, egg, salt, pepper, thyme, oregano, and milk to the mixture.
  4. Mix until fully combined.
  5. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  6. Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
