- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground turkey
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, celery, bell pepper, and garlic.
- Add ketchup, egg, salt, pepper, thyme, oregano, and milk to the mixture.
- Mix until fully combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans.
- Leftovers can be used in sandwiches.
