Description

A delicious Thanksgiving pie bar that combines the flavors of classic pies into one easy-to-eat dessert.


Ingrédients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, sugar, and salt until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. Bake the crust for 15 minutes.
  5. In another bowl, combine pumpkin puree, brown sugar, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
  6. Pour the pumpkin mixture over the baked crust.
  7. Sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
  8. Bake for an additional 30 minutes.
  9. Let cool before cutting into bars.
  10. Serve with whipped cream on top.
