- 6 to 8 tablespoons ice water
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and sugar.
- Add diced butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in ice water, one tablespoon at a time, until the dough comes together.
- Divide the dough into two balls, flatten them into disks, and wrap in plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour.
- Roll out dough and cut into desired shapes for crust designs.
- Place designs on top of your filled pie.
- Bake according to your pie recipe instructions.
