A delicious Thanksgiving pie perfect for the holiday season.
Ingrédients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, chilled and diced
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 6 to 8 tablespoons ice water
- 4 cups fresh apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add butter and mix until crumbly.
- Stir in ice water, one tablespoon at a time, until dough forms.
- Roll out half the dough and place in a pie pan.
- In another bowl, combine apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
- Pour apple mixture into the pie crust.
- Roll out the second half of the dough to cover the pie.
- Seal the edges and cut slits in the top crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350°F (175°C) and bake for another 30-35 minutes.
Notes
- Let the pie cool before serving.
- Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
