A delicious sweet potato dish perfect for Thanksgiving.

- 4 medium sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Peel and cube the sweet potatoes.
- Boil the sweet potatoes in water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the sweet potatoes and mash them in a bowl.
- Add brown sugar, butter, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to the mashed sweet potatoes.
- Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- For a crunchier topping, add crushed pecans or marshmallows before baking.
- This dish can be prepared a day in advance and baked before serving.
