Description
A delicious and traditional Thanksgiving side dish that complements turkey and other main courses.
Ingrédients

- 2 cups of green beans, trimmed
- 1 cup of sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the green beans.
- Blanch green beans for 3 minutes, then drain and rinse with cold water.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add almonds and garlic powder to the skillet and sauté until almonds are golden.
- Add the blanched green beans to the skillet and toss to coat.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
Notes
- You can substitute almonds with pecans or walnuts.
- For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
