Ingrédients

  • 1 cup of sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the green beans.
  3. Blanch green beans for 3 minutes, then drain and rinse with cold water.
  4. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add almonds and garlic powder to the skillet and sauté until almonds are golden.
  6. Add the blanched green beans to the skillet and toss to coat.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.

Notes

  • You can substitute almonds with pecans or walnuts.
  • For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
