A delicious Thanksgiving sweet potato dish that combines sweet potatoes with a hint of spice and a crunchy topping.

- 4 medium sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pierce sweet potatoes with a fork and bake for about 45 minutes until tender.
- Let the sweet potatoes cool, then peel and mash them in a bowl.
- Add brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to the mashed sweet potatoes. Mix well.
- Spread the mixture in a baking dish.
- Top with mini marshmallows and chopped pecans.
- Bake for an additional 20 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- This dish can be prepared a day in advance and baked before serving.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
