Description

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pierce sweet potatoes with a fork and bake for about 45 minutes until tender.
  3. Let the sweet potatoes cool, then peel and mash them in a bowl.
  4. Add brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to the mashed sweet potatoes. Mix well.
  5. Spread the mixture in a baking dish.
  6. Top with mini marshmallows and chopped pecans.
  7. Bake for an additional 20 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
  8. Serve warm.
