- 1 cup buttermilk

- Food coloring (red, yellow, brown)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour your cake pans.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in buttermilk and vanilla.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
- Divide batter into separate bowls and color each with food coloring.
- Pour colored batter into pans to create turkey shapes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cakes cool completely.
- Decorate with buttercream frosting to resemble a turkey.
