Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil yams in a pot of water for 15 minutes until tender.
  3. Drain yams and place them in a baking dish.
  4. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  5. Pour the mixture over the yams and stir gently to coat.
  6. Top with mini marshmallows.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes until marshmallows are golden brown.
