This is the best plov recipe ever, featuring aromatic rice, tender meat, and flavorful spices.

- 2 cups of long-grain rice
- 1 pound of lamb or beef, cut into chunks
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, julienned
- 4 cloves of garlic, whole
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a large pot, heat oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden.
- Add the meat and brown on all sides.
- Stir in the carrots and cook for a few minutes.
- Add the rice, garlic, cumin, coriander, and salt.
- Pour in enough water to cover the rice by an inch.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
- Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes until rice is cooked.
- Remove from heat and let it sit covered for another 10 minutes before serving.
