A simple and delicious southern peach cobbler recipe.

- 4 cups sliced fresh peaches
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix peaches with half the sugar and set aside.
- In another bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and milk.
- Pour melted butter into a baking dish.
- Pour the batter over the butter without stirring.
- Add the peaches on top of the batter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with ice cream if desired.
Notes
- Use ripe peaches for best flavor.
- You can substitute frozen peaches if fresh are unavailable.
- Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of your peaches.
