- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, sugar, and melted butter.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Add sugar and vanilla, mixing until combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Blend in sour cream and flour until smooth.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
- Bake for 1 hour or until set.
- Cool in the oven with the door slightly open for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
Notes
- For a chocolate version, add melted chocolate to the filling.
- Serve with fresh fruit or chocolate sauce.
- Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature for best results.
