A delicious tofu turkey alternative for Thanksgiving.


Ingrédients

  • 2 blocks firm tofu (14 oz each)
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Press tofu to remove excess moisture.
  2. Crumble tofu into a bowl.
  3. Add vegetable broth, soy sauce, nutritional yeast, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix until well combined.
  5. Shape the mixture into a turkey form.
  6. Wrap in foil and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
  7. Unwrap and bake for an additional 15 minutes to brown.
  8. Let cool before slicing.

  • Can be made a day in advance.
  • Serve with your favorite gravy.
