Description

A classic dessert made with layers of sponge cake, custard, fruit, and whipped cream.


Ingrédients

  • 2 cups custard
  • 2 cups mixed berries

  • 1/2 cup sherry (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the sponge cake into cubes.
  2. Layer half of the sponge cake in a large glass bowl.
  3. Drizzle sherry over the sponge cake if using.
  4. Add a layer of custard over the sponge cake.
  5. Add a layer of mixed berries on top of the custard.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Top with whipped cream.
  8. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
