A delicious 2 tier Valentine’s cake perfect for celebrating love.
Ingrédients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Red food coloring (optional)
- Buttercream frosting for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour two round cake pans.
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- Add eggs, milk, and vanilla extract; mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- If using, add red food coloring for color.
- Pour batter into the prepared pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cakes cool completely before frosting.
- Layer cakes with buttercream frosting in between.
- Decorate the top and sides of the cake with more frosting.
