- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup strawberry jam
- 2 cups buttercream frosting
- Fresh strawberries for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour three cake pans.
- In a bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Stir in milk and vanilla extract.
- Combine flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and mix into the batter.
- Divide the batter among the prepared pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the cakes in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
- Layer the cakes with strawberry jam and buttercream frosting.
- Decorate the top tier with fresh strawberries.

- Ensure cakes are completely cool before frosting.
- Use a serrated knife to level the cakes if needed.
- Store in a cool place until serving.
