Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour two round cake pans.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients, alternating with milk, and mix until smooth.
  7. Stir in vanilla extract.
  8. Pour the batter into prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  9. Once baked, let the cakes cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans.
  10. Spread whipped cream between the layers and on top. Decorate with strawberries.
