- 1 cup sugar

- 2 eggs

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Add milk and mix until smooth.
- Divide batter and add red food coloring to one half.
- Pour the colored batter into a greased baking pan.
- Layer with the plain batter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool and top with whipped cream.
Notes
- Use heart-shaped molds for a festive touch.
