Description
A hearty and flavorful dish made with black eyed peas, okra, and tomatoes.
Ingrédients

- 1 cup black eyed peas, soaked overnight
- 1 cup okra, sliced
- 2 cups tomatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Add diced tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add soaked black eyed peas and vegetable broth.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add sliced okra, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for an additional 15 minutes.
- Serve hot.

- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
- Serve with rice or bread.
- Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
