Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  3. Cut the pastry into squares.
  4. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a bowl.
  5. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each square.
  6. Top with a spoonful of cherry pie filling.
  7. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and seal.
  8. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
