  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  4. Add vanilla and eggs to the butter mixture, mixing well.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture, stirring until combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and sprinkles.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
