Description
A hearty and comforting baked ziti made in a crockpot.
Ingrédients

- 1 pound ziti pasta
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef or sausage. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, mix cooked pasta, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Layer half of the pasta mixture in the crockpot.
- Add the cooked meat on top.
- Layer the remaining pasta mixture on top of the meat.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
- Serve hot and enjoy.

- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers.
- Can substitute ground meat with turkey or a meat alternative for a vegetarian option.
- Adjust cooking time based on your crockpot model.
