Description

A hearty and comforting baked ziti made in a crockpot.


Ingrédients

  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef or sausage. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, mix cooked pasta, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Layer half of the pasta mixture in the crockpot.
  5. Add the cooked meat on top.
  6. Layer the remaining pasta mixture on top of the meat.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy.
