Make adorable sushi for Valentine’s Day.
Ingrédients

- 2 cups sushi rice
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 sheets nori
- 1 cucumber, julienned
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Rinse sushi rice under cold water until water runs clear.
- Combine rice and water in a pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover. Cook for 20 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Heat until dissolved.
- Once rice is cooked, let it cool slightly and mix in the vinegar mixture.
- Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo mat. Spread a thin layer of rice on top.
- Arrange cucumber, carrot, and avocado in a line on the rice.
- Roll the sushi tightly using the mat. Slice into pieces.
- Garnish with sesame seeds.

- Use fresh ingredients for best flavor.
- Adjust fillings to your preference.
- Serve with soy sauce and pickled ginger.
