Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F.
- In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
- Divide the dough into small pieces and roll them into rods.
- In a pot, boil water and add baking soda.
- Submerge each pretzel rod in the boiling water for 30 seconds.
- Place the rods on a baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.
- Sprinkle coarse salt on top.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let them cool, then drizzle with melted chocolate.
