Ingrédients

- 1/4 cup baking soda
- 1 large egg, beaten

Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Divide dough and shape into footballs.
- Boil water and add baking soda.
- Boil pretzels for 30 seconds each.
- Place on a baking sheet, brush with egg, and sprinkle salt.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- For extra flavor, sprinkle with garlic powder or cheese.
