A delicious chocolate torte shaped like a football, perfect for game day celebrations.
Ingrédients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate frosting
- White fondant for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a football-shaped cake pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Add melted butter, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the torte cool completely before removing from the pan.
- Frost the cooled torte with chocolate frosting.
- Roll out white fondant and cut into laces for football decoration.
- Place fondant laces on top of the frosted torte.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Use food coloring for fondant if desired.
- Serve with whipped cream or ice cream if preferred.
