Instructions

  3. In another bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until creamy.
  4. Add molasses and egg, mix until combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients.
  6. Chill the dough for at least 1 hour.
  7. Roll out the dough and cut into desired shapes for the house.
  8. Bake the pieces for 10-12 minutes until firm.
  9. Let cool completely before assembling.
  10. Use royal icing to glue the pieces together and decorate with candies.
