These gingerbread snowball cookies are soft, buttery, and coated in powdered sugar.
Ingrédients

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- Additional powdered sugar for coating
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and powdered sugar.
- Add vanilla extract and mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, ground ginger, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture.
- If using, fold in the chopped nuts.
- Form small balls of dough and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.
- Allow cooling for a few minutes, then roll in powdered sugar.
