Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in a saucepan.
  2. Heat the mixture over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Bring to a boil without stirring.
  4. Use a candy thermometer to check the temperature until it reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
  5. Remove from heat and stir in flavoring and food coloring.
  6. Carefully pour the mixture into heart-shaped molds.
  7. Insert lollipop sticks and allow to cool completely.
  8. Once cooled, remove lollipops from molds.
