A simple recipe for cooking black-eyed peas in an Instant Pot.
Ingrédients

- 1 cup dried black-eyed peas
- 4 cups water
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Rinse the black-eyed peas under cold water.
- In the Instant Pot, add olive oil and sauté onions and garlic until soft.
- Add the rinsed peas, water, salt, and pepper.
- Close the lid and set to manual high pressure for 10 minutes.
- Allow natural pressure release for 10 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Soaking peas is optional but can reduce cooking time.
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
