Instructions

  1. Rinse the black-eyed peas under cold water.
  2. In the Instant Pot, add olive oil and sauté onions and garlic until soft.
  3. Add the rinsed peas, water, salt, and pepper.
  4. Close the lid and set to manual high pressure for 10 minutes.
  5. Allow natural pressure release for 10 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
  6. Serve hot.
