Description

A creamy and flavorful lobster stew filled with tender lobster meat and vegetables.


Ingrédients

  • 2 lobsters (about 1.5 lbs each)
  • 4 cups seafood stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the lobsters for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool.
  2. In a pot, melt butter and sauté onion, carrots, celery, and garlic until soft.
  3. Add seafood stock and thyme, then bring to a simmer.
  4. Remove lobster meat from shells and chop into pieces.
  5. Add lobster meat to the pot and stir in heavy cream.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, then heat until warmed through.
  7. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For a thicker stew, add a roux or cornstarch slurry.
  • Serve with crusty bread for dipping.
