Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
  5. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  6. Divide the dough and add red and blue food coloring to create lobster colors.
  7. Roll out the dough and cut into lobster shapes.
  8. Place cookies on a baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until edges are golden.
  10. Cool and decorate with royal icing.
