Ingrédients

  • 2 pounds of beef tenderloin
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 cup of red wine
  • 2 tablespoons of butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rub the beef with olive oil, garlic, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the beef on all sides.
  4. Transfer the beef to a baking dish and pour red wine around it.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until desired doneness.
  6. Remove from oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  7. Melt butter in the skillet and pour over the beef before serving.
