Ingrédients

  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add egg, food coloring, and vanilla to the butter mixture.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Roll dough into balls and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Make an indentation in each ball using your thumb.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  9. Let cool completely.
  10. Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar to make the filling.
  11. Fill each cookie with the cream cheese mixture.
