Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar and egg whites.

- Increase speed and beat until stiff peaks form.
- If the icing is too thick, add water a little at a time until desired consistency.
- Divide icing into bowls and tint with food coloring if desired.
- Pipe decorations onto cooled cookies or cakes.
- Let the decorations dry completely before storing or serving.
Notes
- Store any unused icing in an airtight container.
- Use a damp cloth to cover the icing to prevent it from hardening.
- For a glossy finish, use a food-safe spray after the icing has dried.
