A simple and flavorful shakshuka recipe with poached eggs in a spicy tomato sauce.
Ingrédients

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 4 large eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion and bell pepper. Cook until soft.
- Stir in garlic, cumin, and paprika. Cook for 1 minute.
- Add crushed tomatoes. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Make small wells in the sauce and crack an egg into each well.
- Cover and cook until eggs are set.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with parsley and serve.
