Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a small round cake pan.
  3. In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light.
  4. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla. Mix well.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  7. Pour batter into the prepared cake pan.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes, then remove from pan.
  10. Frost the cake and add decorations as desired.
