A romantic sushi platter perfect for Valentine’s Day.
Ingrédients

- 2 cups sushi rice
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cup rice vinegar
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 sheets nori (seaweed)
- 1/2 pound fresh tuna, sliced
- 1/2 pound fresh salmon, sliced
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 cucumber, julienned
- Wasabi, for serving
- Soy sauce, for serving
Instructions
- Rinse sushi rice under cold water until water runs clear.
- Combine rice and water in a pot. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a bowl until dissolved.
- Once rice is cooked, transfer to a large bowl and gently fold in vinegar mixture.
- Let rice cool to room temperature.
- Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo mat.
- Spread a thin layer of rice over nori, leaving a border at the top.
- Arrange tuna, salmon, avocado, and cucumber in a line across the center.
- Roll the sushi tightly using the mat, sealing the edge with a little water.
- Slice the roll into bite-sized pieces.
- Repeat with remaining ingredients.
- Serve with wasabi and soy sauce.
