Ingrédients

  • 150g egg whites
  • 50g granulated sugar
  • food coloring
  • 200g butter
  • 250g powdered sugar (for filling)
  • flavoring (vanilla, raspberry, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F).
  2. Sift almond flour and powdered sugar together in a bowl.
  3. Whip egg whites until soft peaks form, gradually adding granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
  4. Fold the dry ingredients into the egg whites gently.
  5. Add food coloring and mix until combined.
  6. Pipe small circles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Let them rest for 30 minutes until a skin forms.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  9. Let cool before filling with buttercream.
  10. Sandwich two macarons together with filling.
