Description

Delicious homemade valentine marshmallows that are soft and sweet.


Ingrédients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 packets unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring to a boil and stir until sugar dissolves.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. In a separate bowl, bloom gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water.
  5. Add the warm sugar mixture to the gelatin and mix well.
  6. Stir in vanilla extract and food coloring if using.
  7. Pour mixture into a greased pan and let set for 4 hours.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar and cut into shapes.

  • Store in an airtight container.
  • Use cookie cutters for fun shapes.
  • Can dip in chocolate for extra flavor.
