Ingrédients

  • Almond flour – 1 cup
  • Powdered sugar – 1 cup
  • Egg whites – 3 large
  • Granulated sugar – 1/4 cup
  • Food coloring – red and pink
  • Butter – 1/2 cup
  • Powdered sugar (for filling) – 1 cup
  • Vanilla extract – 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, sift almond flour and powdered sugar together.
  3. In another bowl, beat egg whites until foamy, then gradually add granulated sugar.
  4. Continue beating until stiff peaks form.
  5. Fold in the almond mixture and food coloring gently.
  6. Pipe small circles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Let them sit for 30 minutes to form a skin.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  9. Let them cool completely before filling.
  10. Mix butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla for the filling.
  11. Sandwich two macarons with the filling.
