Ingrédients
- Almond flour – 1 cup
- Powdered sugar – 1 cup
- Egg whites – 3 large
- Granulated sugar – 1/4 cup
- Food coloring – red and pink
- Butter – 1/2 cup
- Powdered sugar (for filling) – 1 cup
- Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a bowl, sift almond flour and powdered sugar together.
- In another bowl, beat egg whites until foamy, then gradually add granulated sugar.
- Continue beating until stiff peaks form.
- Fold in the almond mixture and food coloring gently.
- Pipe small circles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Let them sit for 30 minutes to form a skin.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Let them cool completely before filling.
- Mix butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla for the filling.
- Sandwich two macarons with the filling.
