Description

Ingrédients

  • Sticky rice – 2 cups
  • Pork – 1 pound
  • mung beans – 1 cup
  • Banana leaves – enough to wrap
  • Salt – to taste
  • Pepper – to taste
  • Sugar – 1 tablespoon
  • Onion – 1 medium, chopped

Instructions

  1. Soak sticky rice and mung beans overnight.
  2. Cook mung beans until soft and mash them.
  3. Mix pork with salt, pepper, and sugar.
  4. Lay banana leaves flat and place a layer of sticky rice.
  5. Add mung bean layer, followed by pork, then more sticky rice.
  6. Wrap tightly with banana leaves and tie with string.
  7. Boil for 4-6 hours.
  8. Let it cool before slicing and serving.

  • Use fresh banana leaves for best flavor.
  • Adjust seasoning according to taste.
